{Picture Perfect: Nashville Wedding Photographers-Part One}

It amazes us how social networking is constantly changing the wedding industry. For the past few months, we have been tweeting (@bHuhgesBridal) and facebooking (is that even a term?). While Facebook has been a great outlet for us to connect with brides, Twitter has allowed to form so many relationships with other wedding vendors.

{Note to brides: Twitter is an excellent way to stay informed on different vendors such as photographers, planners, bridal stores, and wedding bloggers. For example you can preview different photographers work as they post new things on their blog OR be informed instantly when we receive new bridal/bridesmaids designs OR when we are having a sale :) !! Just because you are on Twitter, doesn't mean you have to send out "tweets" you can simply sit back, relax, and see what wedding vendors have to say.}

But back to the reason we are blogging....as a bride plans her wedding, there are certain things that get done quite early in the planning process, i.e. shopping for her wedding dress :) As we are one of the first stops a bride makes when planning her wedding, we get TONS of questions. One of the more frequently asked questions is a suggestion on photographers. Since we have been tweeting, we have been able to connect with SO many talented photographers and we wanted to share some with you (in no particular order as they are all FABULOUS)!!

First off is the wonderful couple, Sean and Mel, that is McLellan Style (@SeanMcLellan and @MelMcLellan). Loving their work!!

This is Karen's {the owner of b. Hughes and Signature Events} son, Preston James, who was born in July. Could you die a little bit?

Next up we have Phil and Mindy of Phindy Studios (@phindyphil and @phindymindy). They are another husband a wife team who have such incredible talent.

Another favorite of ours is Gray Photography!! They are also comprised of a husband and wife duo (I am not sure what it is, but husband and wife photographers seem to be so in love and have so much fun together!) But back to Zack and Jody's work (@GrayPhotography).....

Now I believe that we are done with the husband and wife duos, but up next we have Michael Howard (@michaelhphotog).  If you have seen our Twitter page, Michael was the genius behind the gorgeous shots of the store!! But here is another little taste for you...

Our gorgeous bride Ashley...

Since she was our bride, we had to indulge a little bit :)

Also one of our brides!! This picture was shot in New York City :) :)

Have we overloaded you yet? As we still have a few we would like to brag on, so until then, we will give you a list of some great people to follow:

OR you can just check out everyone we follow here :)

Until next time....

*For the Love of Maids*

Planning a wedding is full of decisions--some difficult, some not--and as days and weeks pass, we hear the same thing over and over,

"It has been more difficult picking out my bridesmaids dresses than it was choosing my own!"

Does this surprise us? Well, no it doesn't. When it comes to the wedding gown, it is {hopefully} the bride's decision. Choosing a bridesmaids dress brings in a lot of other factors: i.e. bridesmaids' opinions, body types, coloring, etc....

While there are bridal parties full of bridesmaids who only seek to make the bride happy {even if they don't feel so great}, but there are also bridal parties that are maybe a little harder to handle, enter us, your bridal/bridesmaid consultant AND therapist.

We know it is easier said than done, but try not to stress out when picking the bridesmaids dress(es). Planning a wedding is so much more than just your wedding day, it is all the time and planning you put into it as well--so enjoy it!

Should you need to, pick a couple of different styles or even colors! There is no need to find 1 dress to fit 10 girls, but if that is the case....we are always here for you...

Check out our maids designers' websites: Vera Wang, Badgley Mischka, and Watters & Watters.

Shoe envy...

Attention brides:

After you have made the HUGE decision of choosing your bridal gown, one of the next thoughts/decisions {of which there are MANY} in your bridal process is the shoes. Well look no further, because we have found them for you! Badgley Mischka's bridal shoes are, in our opinion, simply fantastic. We can't say enough good things about them! They always catch our eyes when we are flipping through magazines and we beam with pride to see that they are Badgley Mischka's design. If you would like to peruse some more of there shoes click here.

You better believe we would be wearing these again!
